  1. A custodial parent receives a check for less than the amount she usually gets . Why would this happen?
  • There could be several reasons why this is happening, such as : There may be a recumbent against the custodial parent because he/she was overpaid.

    The custodial parent may have been receiving additional payments for arrears and the arrears have been paid in full resulting in only current child support payments.
