- The custodial parent is now living together with the non-custodial parent. Can they request their case be closed?
- Yes. If the parties are now living together and the custodial parent was never on welfare with the children, then child support payments are suspended and we can close the case.
But, if there are welfare arrears, then the non-custodial parent must pay off the arrears first before the case can be closed.
